Experiential Community Events with Guest Facilitator Michael Brian Baker

Explore the origins of the ancient healing practice of Pranayama, prana meaning life force & ayama meaning to expand. Attendees will be invited to work with the gentle pattern of breathing known to increase productivity, reset the central nervous system, promote integration of the brain’s left & right hemispheres, and create the peaceful internal environment necessary for healing, emotional/mental processing, and physical wellbeing. These events will be facilitated by Michael Brian Baker, the founding member of The Breath Center, teacher of oral traditions, & arts practitioner in Ojai CA.

A gathering of like minded community members seeking a collective pause and rejuvenation from the hustle and bustle of day to day life.

  • Calm the over stimulated mind
  • Reset the central nervous system
  • Secure Healthy Boundaries
  • Purify non-ductory glands
  • Re-establish inner connection
  • Revitalize, Replenish, Rejuvenate

This will be a simple to practice breath that is not related to rebirthing or holotropic patterns. It will be practiced laying down, relaxed very little effort required. – Very very good for the body mind and soul.

Michael Brian Baker is a student of compassion and humility and the founding member of The Breath Center. He travels extensively facilitating groups and individuals in the realization of self-mastery through somatic release, breathwork, and natural plant-based detox. “Prana, according to the Vedanta, is the principle of life. It is like ether, an omnipresent principle; and all motion, either in the body or anywhere else, is the work of this Prana. It is greater than Akasha, and through it everything lives. Prana is in the mother, in the father, in the sister, in the teacher, Prana is the knower.” -Swami Vivekananda
